Why TradeKit
Built on the Tools. Built for the Trade.
TradeKit was born on the job site.
I'm Ryan Grubb, a licensed electrician based in Auckland, New Zealand. I've spent years running electrical jobs across residential and commercial sites, and in that time I kept running into the same frustration: the tools I actually needed either didn't exist, or the ones that did weren't built well enough to survive daily trade use.
So I built them myself.
Every product in the TradeKit range starts with a real problem I've faced on site. Feeding fish tape through long conduit runs at snail pace. Marking in cavities a standard pencil can't reach. Keeping bits organised when you're moving fast between jobs. These aren't problems invented in a boardroom, they're problems I've dealt with myself, on real jobs, with real deadlines.
Why TradeKit?
- Designed in New Zealand by a working Tradie
- Built for daily trade use, not just the occasional job
- Premium materials that hold up on site
- Solving real problems, not adding to the clutter in your bag
The Standard
TradeKit is premium tools for tradies. That means better materials, smarter design, and tools that do exactly what they say, every time. We're not trying to be the cheapest option on the shelf. We're trying to be the one you reach for first.
If you've got a tool problem that hasn't been solved yet, we want to hear about it.
